Congrats to our Ending Hunger Committee Members: Bridget Monk; Carol Hoopingarner; Dianna Fredrikson; Janet Caskin; Jessica Raymond; Kari Pratt; Kayla Pottle; Kerri Taylor; Lisa Pelletier; Mariah Ross; Melanie Nickerson; Michelle Boomer; Samantha Hobbs; Samantha Robichaud; and Whitney Wren!!!
In April, they collected 558 pounds of food with the Canned Goods Food Drive in the Downeast CU lobbies! This is about 14 bankers boxes filled with canned goods which they are donating to the following area Food Pantries: Woodland Food Pantry, cash contribution to MECUL’s Ending Hunger Campaign, Belfast Soup Kitchen, Irene Chadbourne Food Pantry, Labor of Love, Richmond Food Pantry, Friends Helping Community Food Pantry (Bowdoin), and the Unity Food Pantry.
