All through the year, many Downeast Credit Union & Downeast Insurance Team Members donate toward the Ending Hunger in Maine cause through payroll deduction and dress down days. This is proof that small actions can combine together to make a large impact. Our Baileyville Team Members Tasheena, Samantha, Kayla and Katie take a moment out of their day to proudly pose with the $4,096 check that we are sending into the Maine Credit Union League for the statewide Ending Hunger in Maine campaign.
In February 2022, the League will host a special luncheon where the statewide total raised for Ending Hunger in Maine is revealed. Then our fundraising efforts will be distributed back to the food pantries in our local service areas.
